1878 patent made by Plume and Atwood of CT " Gipsy" model
Frame and globe  is unmarked 
Globe is double marked Gipsy 
Condition  - very good 
Brass with a tin bottom 
One small crack in the waistband ( pointed out ) does not effect operation. 
Lantern is small enough to be considered a skater , or hand lamp.
