Online Appraisal and Identification analysis Agreement
This is our Online Appraisal agreement. If you are interested in an Online Appraisal, you must read and agree to the appraisal terms below.
After we receive your payment and information on the item, we will contact you at the email address that you provided concerning our acceptance to proceed.
Online Appraisal Terms
This is our proposal for an Online Appraisal which includes actual sales records when agreed to by the client, It will constitute a binding agreement between The Antique Lantern /Joseph Bokanoski and the client.
The Antique Lantern is not a CERTIFIED with The Appraisers Associations of America , and any appraisal made from us does not guarantee use in a court of law.
We do guarantee that we will use the best possible research and judgment to give you the best possible appraisal and fair market CURRENT pricing.
We understand that the purpose of this appraisal is to determine the fair market value of the antique, collectible, or artwork. In preparing this Online Appraisal, we will consider various factors based on our expertise including but not limited to the condition of the piece, recent sales of comparable pieces, age, provenance, and basic physical condition.
If we agree to complete the Online Appraisal based on a digital image(s), we will prepare an appraisal report to include the following information: maker name or model if available, general description of the piece, approximate date of the item, dimensions of the item, comparable sales record(s) and estimated value. The report will be based on the information ascertained from research and analysis in support of the appraiser's opinion.
The appraisal report will take no more than ten (10) days from the date of the receipt of your payment to be delivered. We will Email the report or mail a signed copy at the address you provided no more than ten (10) days from the date of the receipt of your payment. After the purchase of your appraisal request, you will receive an Email within 24 hours for request of images of your item to begin the process.
We reserve the right to refuse to appraise any item offered for appraisal and issue a full refund. In the event if none such information fields are found on your item, a full refund will be issued. Due to the rarity of items this may happen from time to time , but I make it my best interest not to let this happen.
This proposal is subject to the following conditions, which are expressly made a part of the agreement for appraisal services.
