Very unusual and early unique skater style lantern. Civil War era
Threaded top and bottom like typical skaters  and uses the standard skater globe that is used in many models.
The base and fount portion are 1 piece using a small single wick tube burner.
Appears to have pewter threads soldered in with lead solder 
Tin soldered in bottom.

Condition  - excellent,  no visible condition issues,  near mint.
Shelf ready.
