Unique tall unmarked brass lantern , only one I've seen.
Very well solid built lantern.
Has Characteristics of Joseph Walton,  of Walton Bros patented lanterns thatvare also hallmarked for Romer & Co.
The lid latch is a signature design used on Walton patent  lanterns. 
Globe is a unique shaped style in 6in of height .
No dates , or hallmarks whatsoever on this frame. 
Made of  solid brass construction other than the tin smoke reflector. 
Brass no.1 convex burner. 

Condition  - very good , with a nice overall patina.  Maybe has seen a polish job many years ago , seeing the bottom and inside lid have a much darker patina than the outside.

Smoke deflector shows signs of deterioration.
No other visible condition issues present. 
Brass is crack free, no loose solder.
