Early removable globe design, made to compete with tubular lanterns of the time , this economy screw top cap lantern is simple in design , yet efficient. Sangster fount , with solid brass cast whale oil burner. Globe is marked 5&6 Condition - very good condition. Barn fresh conditions. Light flash rust in places . No heavy rusting or pitting present. Sangster clip on one side was replaced but hardly noticeable. Fount looks good with no issues to hold oil. ** has not been oil tested **
